#Caleb Gilbert

Work that isn't tracked leaks value, so I build the coordination layer. At 21 that meant tracking 150 people and 100 trucks on a disaster-relief project. At Trustero it meant 3.5 years as the only engineer working both the ML and apps teams, seed through Series A. Now it means a fleet of agents that report to a self-hosted audit log.

In between: two products shipped solo — one paid and App-Store-approved in about two weeks, one that got better once I turned off the AI I'd built into it. Plus 23 countries, one van, and a compliance startup's worth of opinions about paper trails.

##timeline

  1. 2026 the fleet

Agents on a self-hosted audit log, one workspace each. Same instinct as the trucks.

  2. 2025–26 Pants

Short-form video stripped from Instagram, YouTube, Facebook. First commit to App Store in about two weeks.

  3. 2025 Socialite

A personal CRM, shipped solo. Launched AI-heavy, read that users didn't want it, turned it off.

  4. 2021–25 Trustero

3.5 years, seed to Series A. The only engineer on both the ML and apps teams. Audit trails as the product.

  5. 2020 App Academy

COVID rerouted the plan. Junior instructor, then module assistant. Taught React.

  6. 2018 disaster relief

150 people, 100 trucks. My tracking corrections recovered six figures leaking to mismanagement.
